Ipsy June Bag Review
The other day I received an Ipsy bag in the mail. I have tried Ipsy previously but didn’t get a lot of good stuff the first go round. They emailed me with an incentive “Renew your membership and receive this Huda Beauty eyeshadow Palette” the palette was so pretty with colors I love to use that I caved and bought the June bag. Since it had been so long since I had received a bag, I decided to retake the quiz. Realizing some of my tastes and interests in products had changed I was glad I decided to retake the products quiz in hopes I would receive products I am interested in. I am pleasantly surprised by the items that I got in the June Bag and have listed them below with my review of them.
Tetris x Ipsy Block Party Shimmer Eyeshadow

I am so excited about this eyeshadow! I absolutely love the color and am all about shimmery, sparkly eyes. This is going to look so good this summer, and even into the fall. This ones a winner in my book.
Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow

I am pretty excited about this product. I love benefit cosmetics and am always down to try new brow fillers and shapers. This product comes with multiple reviews and thanks to the quiz, I received my perfect shade. It also says it is waterproof which is awesome in the summer when you want to have makeup on and look glam but also have a fun day in the water. So far this is a keeper!
English Laundry Oxford Bleu Femme Fragrance
“This refreshing scent opens with addictive notes of citrus, pineapple, melon, and dewy green.
It’s light and flowery, with notes of jasmine, violet, and orange blossom.” -ipsy
This product is a maybe for me. I think it smells very light and fresh but for me I like more of a pungent floral smell for summer. For those who like a more light and airy scent, this is for you.
Sugar Cosmetics Contour De Force Mini Blush

I am particularly excited about this blush! I think it is the perfect shade for summer and will truly compliment my skin tone. I love blush, and have many different shades but I think this will quickly become my new summer go to when I want a subtle look to my makeup and cheeks. Perfect for lake and pool days!
Pixi by Petra Lip Lift Max in Sheer Rose

This product didn’t wow me when I first opened it, but as I am reading up on it I am getting more intrigued. Although it seemed more brownish in the lighting, it seems to be more of a clear tone once it goes on. The fact that it has ingredients like aloe and chamomile makes it very appealing for summer when Im spending my days in the sun. Although this product didn’t wow me at first, I am slowly becoming more excited about using it this summer.
Overall I really liked this June Ipsy Bag. Retaking the quiz helped to curate a better understanding of products I like and would use. For $10 it was worth it, I found a couple new products and brands I’m excited about looking into and possibly might incorporate into my daily products for summer.
